We are asked, why my wife Le & I, a Hanoian & a Londoner, opened a Mexican restaurant in Vietnam and is why is it called District Federal? Its quite simple..we love Mexican food! Le & i wanted to create a brand that people can relate to, a brand that provides a complete experience... authentic food, cool drinks, a fun & happy vibe topped off with great service. Our drive for authenticity led me to spend weeks sampling the food & tequila, in Mexico city... ohh and recruiting a chef. At DF we make our own corn masa for chips & tortillas, fresh cheese daily, homemade crema, salsa's...nothing comes out of a packet! It is what care about it's our passion. Why District Federal?
